Okay.

Ride with me on this one!

Yesterday, we rode the Mary Clark Road to get to the Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT). We laughed remembering Maryhill Winery during our 2023 tour where we took refuge while the road was closed due to a fire. It was the last safe place to stop and take cover. But the mosquitoes were as thick as thieves!

So last night when we rode into Log Cabin Resort, we roll up to the office/registration area and there is a wine barrel from…you guessed it ‘Maryhill Winery’! What? How can that be?!! Now we’re laughing hysterically as we recap the story from our friend Patti Ortiz when she tells us about someone asking if she’s ‘married’ to which she responds ‘No, I’m Patti’. And then we get an email from… uh-huh- Mary…Drew’s sister-in -law’s sister who lives in Sequim. If that isn’t enough ’S’s and ‘M’s for a lifetime!

It’s 9 PM and still light outside. We spent the day fine tuning bikes, taking deep breaths, doing some real estate work and sharing life with nature and beautiful, beautiful people. Thank you Margie for sharing your story with us this morning. Embrace and live life. None of us will get out alive so celebrate each and every moment.
