Feels like home!

Leaving under clear and sunny skies, we enjoyed riding the same roads we traveled in 2023. It’s incredible how the mind remembers so much-like rewinding a favorite video.
Ground squirrels, Mountain Plover and deer dotted the edges of the road.
While just putting down miles, I feel grateful for the cycling app Zwift. Spending hours on the trainer, it has taught me to stay ‘in the pedals’ consistently.
At Victor Park, we stopped for lunch.
Next destination spot was Valley Bicycles and Ski in Hamilton for more electrolytes. What an amazing staff! So helpful.
Minutes later, I found the road treasure of the day- a Voile strap. You can never have enough tie down straps and I may need it as a tow rope from Drew’s bike to get over tomorrow’s climb!
As we get closer to Darby, we see road construction- they are resurfacing the highway.
We finally make it to Spirit Mountain Inn for our night’s rest. We have a big day tomorrow so rest tonight is vital!
